Sunday Night Football

This weekend’s Sunday Night Football matchup between the Eagles and Bears can turn out to be a meaningless game for both teams. In the early afternoon games the Cowboys will play the Redskins, and if the Cowboys win then Week 16 doesn’t matter for the Eagles. The NFC East division title would be decided in Week 17 when the Eagles play the Cowboys in Dallas. The NFC East has been decided in Week 17 the past two years with the Cowboys playing both games. Last year: Cowboys 18 Redksins 28 for the Division. 2011 Giants 31 Cowboys 14 for the Division. Also, if the Lions lose against the Giants and Packers beat the Steelers then this game wouldn’t matter for the Bears. The NFC North division would be decided the following week in Chicago when the Packers come to town. Should be interesting to see how this plays out!
